El cine y las rubias
¿Por qué los productores las prefieren rubias? ¿De dónde sale esa tendencia a purificar la raza cinematográfica? ¿Por qué todas las actrices blancas se van transformando, imperceptiblemente, en actrices rubias -es decir, con el pelo pintado de amarillo-?
¿Por qué todas las actrices negras son apasteladamente negras, una versión light, es decir, cada vez menos negras, entre maquillaje, iluminación y, por supuesto, casting? ¿Por qué las actrices negras sexies son Halle Berry y, ahora, Beyoncé?). ¿Por qué ahora que el hip hop está de moda, y las mujeres pueden hablar como negras, tienen que verse más rubias que Fergie?
¿Por qué el papel de la raza minoritaria, antes ocupado exclusivamente por estas negras que se van aclarando, es ahora compartido por una versión menos radical todavía, es decir, las latinoamericanas? ¿Por qué ahora la minoría candente es, a lo sumo, una mujer blanca con el pelo oscuro y un acento cada vez menos marcado de ‘ascendencia hispánica’?
El empirismo que me caracteriza trajo a colación a una actriz que, en términos de purismo cinematográfico, tiene mucho que decir. O sea, una mujer que empezó siendo una latina tremenda (ya no negra o mestiza sino una morocha con apellido hispánico) y terminó siendo una rubia tremenda (una barbie). El cambio es elocuente.

La razón es evidente. Ya lo dijo Anita Loos hace 60 años: “Los caballeros las prefieren rubias”. Cuanto más negra es tu piel menos atractivo eres a ojos ajenos. Más que una actitud racista lo entiendo como una cuestión estética, de gusto personal. Nunca olvidaré la expresión cercana al asco que usó José Legrá, ex-campeón del mundo de boxeo, cubano-español y negro, cuando dijo en una ocasión que las mujeres negras no le gustaban.
Por cierto. Una de las mujeres más atractivas que he visto en una pantalla de cine se llama Pam Grier. Cuestión de gustos.

me parece más bien una cuestión ideológica… y que a un negro le den asco las negras, me parece un claro ejemplo de cómo la discriminación es adoptada por el discriminado, es una cuestión de manipuilación.
de hecho, aquí tenemos el ejemplo de una misma mujer… se supone q es igual de bonita a sí misma…
